splitrivet Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Helps if you put this in the right forum, Doh.Hi guys hope someone can help just picked up my 6 month old 1.8 Td ghia read the manual from cover to cover and been trying to find out where you plug in your Ipod. The manual is so vague its untrue, I was hoping the radio had a USB connection as per the book but as Ive searched all over the car in vain I can only assume the manual was written to cover all models whether the offending device was fitted or not.Dont even get me started on pairing your Phone thats still a complete mystery and Ive been trying for an hour. I wouldnt mind but I'm no technology numbnuts I install & programme Phone/Data systems for a living. The radio is a Sony CD DAB by the way.Cheers,Bob Quote
Zepilef Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 (edited) Hi Bob.If you have Ipod connection capability, you should have a "line in" 3.5 mm stereo jacK and an USB port on the left side of your glove box (in front of passenger seat). Should you have only the "line in", you can connect the ipod through a male-male cable from the earphone connector. Zepilef Edited November 13, 2009 by Zepilef Quote
